Mondetta Interior Solutions (MIS) is a Winnipeg, MB based interiors firm seeking a full time senior interior designer. We are offering an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Interior Designer to join us and play a key role in the expansion of the company. We require a team player who is proficient in producing detailed and comprehensive drawing sets, as well as assist in developing our cad formatting standards. In collaboration with the Lead Designer, execute plans, elevations, sections, legends, FF&E, finishes and millwork details for both permitting and construction issue sets. Salary and responsibilities commensurate with experience and ability.

•  Experience in corporate / hospitality / residential and commercial interior design
•  The ability to take schematic design concepts and convert into accurate construction details
•  Diploma / Degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
•  Strong interior / working-drawing knowledge & experience
•  Expert with AutoCAD, Revit and Sketch-up
•  Graphic design skills an asset to collaborate with our in house graphic dept.
•  Adobe Creative Suite [such as Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, etc.]
•  Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication and time management skills
•  NCIDQ / LEED accreditation an asset

Duties / Responsibilities:
•  Executing most phases of a project with an emphasis on Design and Construction Documentation
•  Producing accurate, detailed working set drawings and 3D renderings to support the design concept
•  Participate in client meetings and presentations
•  Research information relating to project concepts
•  Produce sketches, renderings, samples for clients approvals
•  FF&E sourcing and documentation
•  Address and resolve design issues, clarifications and RFI's
•  Review shop drawings with the guidance of more senior team members
•  Oversee all details of the project with the supervision of the Design Team Lead and/or Senior Designers
•  Participate in budgeting, forecasting and scheduling of projects
•  Good understanding of the financial deliverables with respect to the design and client program
•  Consultant procurement, coordination, and management
•  Assist in development of our Mondetta Home Accessory products
